Welcome to Borbo, which we have created together with a common excitement.

We are the sum of different stories, values we hold, and experiences gained over the years. Just like us, our brand has its own story aswell.

Borbo is our design world, which is inspired by the constantly changing nature that surrounds us. Our design team is passionate about the field of design and our master craftsmen carefully produce timeless designs that are unique to you and will last for generations to come. As the Borbo brand, which was founded in 2018, we are not a traditional design company; but rather a large family of passionate creators who challenge the ordinary and explore new ways of living, working and designing. We are all based on the idea of change for the better – for ourselves, each other and the world we live in.

As designers who enjoy developing themselves and facing challenges, creating a high-quality, durable, accessible, and innovative design brand with a high design understanding was always on our minds. Since 2006, we have been active in the fields of architecture, interior architecture, and product design at Paratoner Design, where we have signed various design and application projects with many global companies. We have designed countless products and spaces, and always enjoyed doing so. Eventually, when the right time came, we felt it and, as a result of all our cumulative experience, we founded Borbo Furniture in 2018 and created a unique collection that was thought out to the finest detail.

The world is changing, and we are evolving with it. In the fluidity of life, we are becoming more aware of the opportunities we have, the choices we make, and the footprints we leave behind. Like the nature that surrounds us, we are looking for exciting ways to grow, soften the rigid patterns that restrict us, unleash our creativity, and see our lives, work, and world with new eyes. We are looking for ways to follow our passions, live by our values, and discover who we truly are. This quest invites us to make a change for the better. Welcome to the world of constant change, fluidity, and freedom.

our creative space

We are a design-focused brand and believe that good design has a profound impact on our lives. Therefore, we established Borbo Lab with the idea of creating a space for our growing design team to develop their ideas, solve design problems, create prototypes, and bring our collections into production.

Located next to our Istanbul store, Borbo Lab is our creative space where we conduct our entire design process. Here, we constantly exchange ideas, discuss and take action with each other in close contact. The process starts with sketches, which then lead to prototypes that we experiment with together in our Borbo Lab office. We enjoy the free-spirited design atmosphere in this area where all the equipment and materials for our designs are available and we strive to reflect this spirit in our designs.

We believe that beautiful things should not come with a high price tag. To make this possible, we strive to constantly improve ourselves. We would like to say that we are perfect, but we are not. Like everyone else, we face difficulties, setbacks, and uncertainties from time to time. Nevertheless, we move forward on our own path with excitement and without giving up. We enjoy sharing our thoughts, choices, actions, and our entire journey with you to make progress towards a better world.

Üretim yaklaşımımız basittir. Her Borbo mobilya parçasını özel kılan el yapımı unsurları, dünyanın her yerinde mevcut olan en ilerici makine ve teknolojiyle birleştirin.

Son yıllarda İstanbul üretim tesisimizi büyüttük ve güncelledik. Böylece, Borbo’nun her parçası hala sipariş üzerine elde yapılırken, artık hem yurtiçi hem de büyük ölçekli ticari projeler için kaliteden ödün vermeden mobilya üretebiliyoruz.

Üretimimiz, fikirlerimizi prototiplemek ve verimli üretim için tasarlamak üzere en son dijital yazılımı ve 3D baskı teknolojisini kullanan tasarım ekibimizle başlar. Tasarımlarımız üretime taşındığında, atıkları azaltmak, enerji tasarrufu yapmak ve karbon ayak izimizi en aza indirmek için yalın üretim yöntemlerini kullanırız.

Elbette zanaatkarlarımızın nesiller boyu öğrendikleri ve aktardıkları becerilerin yerini alacak bir makine yok. Ancak bugün, modern CNC ve Beş Eksen makinelerinin eklenmesiyle, sürekli olarak üretimde dünyanın en iyi uygulamaları için çalışıyoruz ve ürünlerimizin yalnızca tüm ürün yaşam döngüsü boyunca kaliteyi korumasını değil, aynı zamanda çevre ile uyum içinde çalışmasını sağlıyoruz.
